Physical Therapy

IMG_5710

What would getting back to the activities you love mean to you?  With one-on-one care provided by a Doctor of Physical Therapy and board-certified orthopedic clinical specialist, we aim to get you feeling better faster.  Compared to the traditional system where you will have to go to the clinic 2-3X/week and maybe only see your therapist for 20 minutes, at Spire Physical Therapy & Wellness you will receive one-on-one time with your physical therapist in order to tailor interventions to best meet your needs.  We recommend hour long sessions for best results for most people, but also offer a 30-minute option for those who are unable to commit to 60 minutes at this time.  Because of the increased precision of care you will receive at Spire, you will likely only need to be seen 1-2X/week for fewer visits overall than a typical outpatient clinic.  This also means you won’t have to spend as much time away from work or your other normal routine, saving you time and money.

Physical Therapy Pricing:

Medicare:

We are contracted and in-network with Medicare at this time.  If you are a Medicare recipient, you will need a referral from a physician to receive physical therapy services, but then we will take care of billing and submitting claims for you.  If you do not have a secondary insurance, you will be responsible for 20% of charges at the time of service.

Other Insurance:

In order to provide you optimal care that is not dictated by insurance companies, we are out-of-network with most insurance companies.  This allows us to treat you without restrictions and also allows us to put more time and effort into YOU instead of managing insurance contracts and billing.  Because of our relatively low self-pay pricing, this will often save you money too, particularly with high copay or high deductible plans (see example below).  Plus, if your insurance plan has out-of-network benefits, Spire is able to provide you with a superbill to submit for reimbursement.  See our FAQ page for a starting point in calling your insurance company to find out your benefits.  With our model of one-on-one, individualized care and longer treatment sessions, we strive to get you feeling better and back to what you want to be doing more quickly than traditional models, saving you valuable time in your life too.

Self-Pay Pricing:

Initial Evaluation: $125.00

Follow Up (60 min): $95.00

Follow Up (30 min): $60.00

**This is an example only, prices vary for insurance-based model based on codes billed. Also check your individual plan for your specific copay and deductible amounts.

Keep in mind that savings could be amplified if:

  • You submit bills from Spire for reimbursement from your insurance company
  • You have a high copay (physical therapy often falls under a higher “specialist” copay category)
  • You have a high deductible insurance plan
  • Your insurance has denied further PT for your condition
  • You have used your allotted PT visits under your insurance plan
